Oval Snake and Moth Serving Plates

Two hand-formed oval serving trays with snake moon, and moth designs. The designs were applied using an underglaze decal, then covered with a clear glaze to keep the tray food safe. The clear was then coated with a wax resist to keep the dark blue glaze off of the decals. The entire tray was dipped in a blue glaze, and then a black glaze was lightly applied to the rim for an ethereal blue-black effect.

These serving plates come in one large size and one medium size. The design elements are the same on each plate, just arranged differently. They stack evenly together for storage as a set. Each tray is sold individually.

These plates are lead free, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. The large one is approximately 10-12" in length and 4" across it's widest point. The medium one is approximately 8"-10" long and 3" across it's widest point. Please inquire via email for exact dimensions. Both of these trays are the perfect size and shape to hold multiple servings of different types of foods. From bread slices and finger foods, to cooked vegetables and sliced meats, this serving plate will hold enough to feed you and your guests.
